AILEEN TEAGUE

Teague is an Assistant Professor in the Department of International Affairs at Texas A&M’s Bush School of Government and Public Service. A former Marine Corps officer, she previously held a postdoctoral fellowship at Brown University’s Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs. She is also a fellow at the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft. Teague earned her Ph.D. in History from Vanderbilt University in 2018. She is the author of Policing on Drugs: The United States, Mexico, and the Origins of the Modern Drug War, 1969-2000 (Oxford University Press, 2025).
