DEB THARP

Deb Tharp began her cannabis advocacy as a campaign volunteer for pro-legalization candidates in the early 90s. Deb ran for State Assembly in 2010 to bring cannabis to the forefront of the local debate in Orange County, CA while completing her bachelor’s at UCI. She then qualified and assisted with dozens of local and statewide cannabis ballot initiatives in pre-legalization California, helping to sway the minds of hundred of thousands of voters across the state through strategic political action. Following legalization, she earned her J.D. from Taft Law School and plans to sit for the Bar in 2024.
