KARYN SPORER AND ROBERT GLOVER

Karyn Sporer has received funding from the U.S. Department of State’s IDEAS Program, the Open Society Foundation, and the Department of Homeland Security's National Center of Excellence for Terrorism Prevention and Counterterrorism Research. Rob Glover received funding from the Open Society Foundation and an IDEAS grant from the U.S. State Department. In 2027, Glover will travel to Portugal as a Fulbright Scholar to study their drug policy, train Portuguese university faculty on designing community engaged courses, and teach courses for Portuguese and international students at Universidade Catolica Portuguesa in Lisbon (January-June 2027). He is a co-leader of the Maine Chapter of the Scholars Strategy Network and UMaine UVote. He serves on the board of the national Students Learn Students Vote Coalition. He has been a fellow at the Educational Network for Active Civic Transformation (or ENACT), based at Brandeis University, since 2016 and serves on their Advisory Board.
