Craft brand expands with adult-use dispensaries in Rowley and Framingham
At Talking Joints Memo, we tend to disagree when people say that cannabis in Massachusetts has gone downhill this past year. But that’s only because we’re spoiled brats, and despite the race to the bottom that is clearly afoot with mid-market weed in particular, we know where to find the ringers. And one of the most reliable places in Mass for that is Bountiful Farms.
The only problem up until now, though, is that their green can be a little hard to locate, as great things often are. The company’s award-winning products (grown and manufactured in their Lakeville facility) are sold in shops across the state, but quickly sell out due to high demand. And their long-open dispensary in Natick is medical-only, so not everyone can load up there.
Fortunately, especially for those in Metro West, Bountiful is expanding into recreational retail for the first time this month. According to the company, “The Rowley retail space, located at 300 Newburyport Turnpike, will officially celebrate its grand opening on September 18, 2025, and the Framingham retail space, located at 315 Worcester Road, will celebrate its grand opening later in the month.”
A media release noted: “Bountiful Farms is committed to delivering the finest cannabis to Massachusetts consumers, and these two planned locations mark a major milestone as it expands beyond wholesale and medical operations into recreational retail for the first time. … Both new stores will offer the full lineup of Bountiful Farms’ award-winning products, alongside a curated selection from other Massachusetts cannabis brands.”
“Since day one, we’ve been focused on producing exceptional cannabis and building strong relationships in the cannabis community,” Jeff Barton, CEO of Bountiful Farms, said in a statement. “Now, we’re excited to take the next step and bring our products directly to recreational consumers through a branded retail experience that reflects everything we stand for.”
More info on the openings below:
The Bountiful Farms Rowley dispensary, located at 300 Newburyport Turnpike, and formerly Cape Ann Cannabis Dispensary, will officially celebrate its grand opening on September 18, featuring exclusive product drops, limited-edition giveaways, a live t-shirt press activation, and a Q&A session with Chief Cultivation Officer Zachary Taylor, offering insights into the cultivator’s genetics and award-winning pheno hunt process. The store will celebrate the North Shore community through local partnerships and in-store displays that highlight nearby landmarks.
The Bountiful Farms Framingham dispensary will officially celebrate its grand opening in late September and will build on the cultivator’s mission by expanding access to high-quality cannabis in Metro West. The dispensary, located at 315 Worcester Road, was formerly operated as UpTop Cannabis and will transition to the Bountiful Farms brand following the acquisition.
“We’re thrilled to be able to offer our products to even more cannabis lovers, and I’m looking forward to welcoming customers into spaces that really reflect our dedication to quality and craft,” Bountiful Farms Chief Cultivation Officer Zachary Taylor added. “These new stores will allow us to connect more directly with the people who appreciate the work that goes into every jar.”
