We don’t have many policies at Talking Joints Memo other than to (mostly) keep it local or at least New England-based. But one place where we are willing to bend that rule is around Wu-Tang, specifically in covering the Clan’s moves in the weed game—from Raekwon’s lounge down in the Garden State, to Inspectah Deck’s moves in the Bay State edibles market.
If some of this stuff stinks like typical celebrity pot profiteering, then so be it. Wu-Tang, and especially Method Man, helped shape the pop marijuana landscape as we know it, so this sort of partnership is at least worth a look. In this case, Johnny Blaze and his TICAL brand teamed with the European e-commerce shop Zamnesia on an “exclusive seed drop featur[ing] eight premium strains personally selected and approved” by the artist himself.
