Though it was only in July that we gathered the troops at Quincy Cannabis Co. to rally against Question 8 and learn from a friend who faced off against the same foes during the failed bid to legalize psychedelics in Mass, it feels like it has been a year.
In the time since, we’ve traveled all across the state preaching the “No on 8” gospel, interviewing stakeholders galore, and even filming and editing a documentary about the ordeal. All while continuing daily coverage of not just the referendum, but of all the usual stuff as well.
On Thursday, Oct. 29, we’ll be back on the South Shore, specifically at Quincy Golf Lounge next to QCC. It’s our final fandango before the election on Nov. 3, and we’re joining Holiday, Farmer’s Cut, and other friends playing games, giving out swag and campaign lit, and premiering our “No on 8” mini doc, “Just Say No!”
We hope to see you there, and we hope you join us in spreading the word that we have to win this one by lots and lots of votes.
