Cannabis and disc golf make for one of the industry’s biggest fall spectacles for the third year in a row
If you are familiar with the disc golf community, then it won’t come as too much of a surprise that there’s a lot of crossover with the Mass cannabis industry. Few other sports go as well with enormous spliffs, and in the case of the annual Solar Invitational at Maple Hill, there’s the added bonus of the South Coast company transforming one of the country’s top courses into an all-out weed wonderland.
With sponsors pitching tents at nearly every hole, and teams representing dozens of companies, there was palpable excitement as friends and colleagues new and old alike shared stories and samples. Some squads came for glory, while others showed up just for fun and a chance to chill with heads from every corners of the weed world—sales reps, cultivators, retail associates, and a few execs too.
