Double-barrel pocket rocket in a vape class of its own
We’ve had some seriously impressive vapes in Mass over the last few months. That goes for traditional 510 carts as well as for proprietary handles and disposables too; even if we don’t love every aspect of each vaporizer that we sample, most typically fill at least two of the three buckets we care about—flavor, cloud capacity, and aesthetics.
The Charge Plus, manufactured by Bostica, checks all of the above boxes and more. Sleek and ready for the heaviest of hitters at the same time, it’s the rare vape that you can discreetly hide inside a back or jacket pocket, or alternatively clutch and puff like a spring breaker palming a grenade-sized tobacco rig.
And did we mention the specifications? We tried one that’s half Shirley Temple, half Lighting Lemon(ade), and all delicious. As for the device itself, it has a far better user experience than some of the other dual chamber pieces. Each strain has its own button, or for a blend you can push either one of them two times to enter “party mode.” Which is also basically the preheat option and enables you to exhale some real smoke stacks.
Maybe not a priority option for live rosin cheerleaders, this is nonetheless a spectacular display of the wonders of distillate. Not just in presentation, though there is certainly that; from the light show it gives off, to the smooth metal casing, to the visibility window for seeing how much you have left, the Charge Plus is a luxury item. Beyond the look and feel, though, it’s also jam-packed with a smorgasbord of terps and complementary cannabinoids crossfiring in harmony.
This one promises 500+ puffs, and judging by the effects of the first few, we’ll be laid out flatter than the Charge Plus on the couch about a half-a-thousand times before we disappear both tanks.
