Featuring drag shows, a benefit for Multicultural AIDS Coalition, and of course, cannabis
We’re almost halfway through June, so naturally the pride party front is warming up. That includes throughout the Massachusetts cannabis community …
Stoner Pride takes place at Dorchester Brewing Company in Boston on Sunday, June 15, and is a fundraiser for the Multicultural AIDS Coalition. Organizers have planned “a celebration of radical queer and trans joy,” including “dancing, stoner community building, drag shows, gogo dancing, and fundraising for MAC.” Sponsors include: Queer In Cannabis, Fine Fettle, Levia, Mayflower, WYLD, The Goods Cannabis, Select, Rooted In, Sparq, Grassroots, Smokies, and Paper Crane Cannabis. Closer to the end of the month, on June 25, Happy Valley will host Queens and Greens at Dani’s Queer Bar in Back Bay. They’re promising “a glitter-packed evening celebrating drag performers, cannabis history, and queer history—all rolled into one unforgettable experience.” A media release continues: “Presented by Happy Valley and Queer in Cannabis and hosted by dazzling drag royalty, Tara Dikhof, this event is more than just a trivia night—it’s a high-energy spectacle full of fierce performances, fiercer competition, and the fiercest knowledge drops.” More info and tickets here.
And on the product front, our old friends at Good Feels dropped a limited edition 500mg Rainbow Candy Pride Vibe tincture for June. More from them: “Bursting with fruity sweetness and colorful celebration, this flavor is a nod to the vibrant LGBTQ+ community and the brand’s love for Provincetown—a long-standing symbol of inclusivity, joy, and pride.” That’s in addition to the launch of the company’s new Good Vibes Pockets, a line of 150mg “ultra-portable, fast-acting THC drops” that could come in handy during such a big party month.
“We created the Rainbow Candy Pride Vibe to honor the beauty and strength of our LGBTQ+ community,” Good Feels Founder and CEO Jason Reposa said. “This is our way of saying thank you and sharing the love.”
