Panacea Wellness (Quincy)
Here’s some major news for cannabis consumers in that curious strip of “no” towns between Boston and Rockland or Abington, with Quincy’s second adult-use shop finally opening just ahead of OIL Day. More from MariMed: “Panacea Wellness Quincy is the third MariMed dispensary in Massachusetts that offers adult-use sales, which is the maximum permissible by state law. The other two adult-use dispensaries are in Beverly and Middleboro. The Company commenced adult-use sales in Quincy on July 2, 2024. The dispensary, which has been operating as a medical-only location, offers a curated selection of products from across the Company’s award-winning brand portfolio. Starting off the week leading up to OIL Day, this South Coast dispensary and craft cultivator is throwing a summer party on Wednesday, July 3 complete with a donut truck, burgers and dogs, cornhole, and live music from the band Calamity Brain.
Green Choice Dispensary (Blackstone)
Filling in the party gap between Independence Day and In-Dab-Pen-Dance Day on the tenth, Choice is hosting its first-ever holiday party on July 6. With “exotic super cars,” “music, food, vendors, and more!” “This is going to be something you don’t want to miss!” Click here for more info.
Mass Alternative Care (Chicopee)
Mass Alternative Care is truly wired into its community, so much so that it sources local honey for its outstanding full-spectrum RSO nectar. From noon to 7pm on July 6, they will celebrate the company’s anniversary and warm heads up for OIL Day with “food and drinks, music and games, free swag, uninfused samples, vendor booths” and more. We’ve seen an in-store performance at this intimate Back Bay boutique before, and have no doubt that the OIL Day appearance by STL GLD will be another memorable musical experience. And the weed angle is notable too, with the iconic Boston hip-hop fusion outfit working in collaboration with the Holyoke-based Cannalive Genetics to release GLD LPH flower as engrossing and unique as their albums. The Heirloom Collective X Garden Remedies X The Summit Lounge (Worcester)
Holding down the heart and center of the commonwealth cannabis community—the Summit Lounge—on this semi-holy day is none other than The Heirloom Collective, which is teaming up with Garden Remedies for a dab bar. There’s something to be said for hanging out in Worcester on OIL Day, which is kind of like being poolside in Paris for the upcoming Summer Olympics.
Suncrafted (Middleborough)
This multiple award-winning destination dispensary loves to entertain, whether with exclusive products you can only score at their store or with community events. On 7/10, their retail shop will have oil promotions and the Rockin’ Burgers food truck on site during the day, followed by a separate event afterwards in a separate nearby event space called The Grove. Always going the extra mile, it’s no surprise that Bountiful Farms stepped it up for OIL day by releasing a limited line of full-melt hash. From their team: “The cultivators will be making just 50 jars of Southern Hashpitality #5 available at their dispensary in Natick, MA and retail partners Botera and Starbird with another drop expected just a few weeks later. Bountiful Farms is renowned in the Massachusetts cannabis industry for their rosin products, and full melt is their latest experimentation in rosin.
