A “vapor experience that translates the beer’s zesty, citrus-funk character into smooth, flavorful pulls of cannabis”
Salute to unique partnerships, and especially the kind of symbiotic cross-industry collaborations that, frankly, we don’t see nearly enough of in this cutthroat world of marijuana versus beer and spirits.
Starbird in Salem isn’t the first cannabis company to link with a brewery (in this case, Old Planters Brewing in Beverly), but its dedication to building the project on both sides of the aisle is especially laudable. Here’s the breakdown …
For the weed heads, there’s the Starbird X Old Planters Superdelic Series 1g vape cart, “crafted to capture the vibrant flavor of Old Planters’ Superdelic IPA, brewed with rare Superdelic hops from New Zealand.” They explain further: “With the help of Baked Beans Farms and terpene innovators at Abstrax Tech, an exact 1:1 hop terpene profile was developed and infused into this limited-run release. The result is a vapor experience that translates the beer’s zesty, citrus-funk character into smooth, flavorful pulls of cannabis.”
For the hop heads, there’s a complement to that “vapor experience” on tap. The Superdelic IPA is a hazy New England number that is also available in a limited-run can worth traveling for. The brew “uses limited batch Superdelic hops from New Zealand, reminiscent of OG Kush Strains.”
And for anyone who likes the sound of all of the above and prefers to puff the old-fashion way, perhaps with a cold pint in the other paw, there’s a co-branded preroll for sale as well. At the dispensary, of course.
