Event: Cannalive 15-Minute Make Over Party

It goes down on Sunday at Comm Ave Canna in Brookline

Cannalive has been delivering unique concepts to the Mass cannabis space since before it started putting out products. From local musical artist collabs to sponsorships of dance nights outside of the usual stoner realm, the company is fun to watch and party with.

“We’re doing it to be nice, but there also is a business model behind it,” Cannalive Founder Todd Dahn said last year of their partnership with the band STL GLD. “It gives me their audience, which is generally pretty cannabis-friendly, to come in and offer more support to the band and give them another way to support the band—not just through T-shirts and ticket sales, but also through cannabis, which is then an experience on their own that then helps them a lot of times in their life, whether it’s anxiety or sleep or whatever.”

To celebrate their products going into Comm Ave Canna in Brookline near BU, this weekend Cannalive is pulling out another one of its distinctive stops, the free 15-minute makeover. From 2 to 4pm on Dec. 7, buy any CannaLive product and get hooked up.

“One of our goals with our pop-ups is to help other community-based entrepreneurs get in front of potential consumers through authentic engagements that are in safe spaces,” Dahn told Talking Joints Memo. “Another goal when we do engagements with our partners is to make sure their consumers always leave in a better mood than when they came in.”
