For those who aren’t familiar with Smash Hits, that’s code around these parts for all the fire product cultivated by cannabis icon Greg “Chemdog” Krzanowski.
A line produced by Canna Provisions, where Chemdog is the director of cultivation, the partnership has yielded phenomenal flower, stellar vape and dab collaborations, the first retail clone program in the state, and now … a line of beverages.
From the cultivators regarding their latest “groundbreaking milestone”—“In a strategic product launch aimed to add a new cannabis-infused beverage option to the local market, Canna Provisions has released the first line of Smash Hits THC soda lines: Haze and Doctor Durban.”
The 12-ounce cans are manufactured by the Easthampton-based drink makers at High Five, and have 5mg of hydrocarbon extracted distillate oil along with “natural botanical terpenes designed for euphoric uplift.”
“We really knocked it out on the flavors, and I’m not even a big soda guy most of the time,” Chemdog said. “Haze has a really nice refreshing lemon-lime taste using the botanical terpenes we use in production. But the Doctor Durban is sweet and balanced with cola and fruit, and it’s perfect for throwing into a glass with a scoop of ice cream for a soda float I had as a kid using stuff like Cherry Coke and Dr. Pepper.”
The sodas are available at Canna Provisions stores in Western Mass, as well as “other stores carrying Smash Hits cannabis products in the Commonwealth.”
