The 36th Annual Boston Freedom Rally will take place on Boston Common on Friday, Sept. 19 and Saturday, Sept. 20
Things have changed significantly since the original MassCann Cannabis Freedom Rally (as it was called then) in 1989.
For one, instead of getting chased around by cops and blocked by politicians, last year the Commonwealth of Massachusetts recognized MassCann “for 35 years of encouraging volunteering, for the creation of The Boston Freedom Rally, for ending the criminal prohibition of marijuana, and continued advocacy on behalf of cannabis consumers.”
One thing that hasn’t changed, however, is the centering of kickass artwork. And ahead of the 36th Annual Boston Freedom Rally, scheduled for Sept. 19 and 20, MassCann “invites you to take part in [its] annual artwork contest to design an official flyer.”
You’ll have two chances to win and also receive a free booth at The Boston Freedom Rally 2025: People’s Choice (The public will vote for their favorite flyer via social media); and Director’s Choice (The MassCann Board of Directors will select their top pick).
