Breaking down research into “practical applications for clinical medicine, patients, policy makers, and academics”

Talking Joints Memo is proud to be the lead media sponsor of an upcoming three-part interactive webinar focused on results of the “Cannabis as an Alternative” research study led by Dr. Marion McNabb and Dr. Peter Grinspoon. All virtual events in the series are free to attend.

The first session will take place on April 9 at 7pm, and will begin with McNabb, the president of Cannabis Center of Excellence, releasing a report on their work. Building on that data, she will also interview Grinspoon, a Harvard-trained physician and author whose latest book, Seeing Through the Smoke, A Cannabis Specialist Untangles the Truth about Marijuana, is billed as “a comprehensive guide to understanding the truth about marijuana, including its benefits, risks, and legal status.”

“This series will break down research findings into practical applications for clinical medicine, patients, policy makers, and academics to understand the implications of integrating cannabis as a harm-reduction therapy on real world clinical practice,” McNabb said. “Join us in co-creating and sustaining the dialogue about the integration of cannabis as a harm-reduction alternative.”

You can register in advance for the first webinar here.
