Dab Review: Valley Garden207 Pie Dough Live Rosin

Elite coveted Maine melt is the definition of loud

If everything you ever wanted was in a two-gram jar of hash, it would be the Pie Dough Bx1 from Valley Garden207.

Based in Maine, Valley Garden has been making waves across the northeast as one of the most coveted and highly sought-after extraction companies in the game. I was lucky enough to get my hands on some of their tier 1, hand-washed live rosin.

Look/Smell

Their packaging is always on point, with a super colorful logo and labels that caught my eye immediately. For this jar, they chose a yellowish gold that has a supreme look to it.

The 73-159u live rosin is the definition of loud. It’s wild to me that such a small amount can dank up an entire room, but it does. I love the absolute pungency of Pie Dough—it’s undoubtedly one of my favorite strains. The aroma hits with notes reminiscent of sugar cookie frosting and fresh lime peel, rounded out by a petroleum underfunk.

Taste

Valley Garden’s work with this strain is no fluke—they took home first place at the Dab Rite Cup Northeast Regionals this past summer with Pie Dough Bx1. A cross of (Animal Cookies x Stardawg x Grape Pie) x (Pie Eyed) bred by the legendary Crystal Rose Seed Co., this strain showcases its lineage beautifully.

The flavor profile centers on road fuel and burnt rubber gas, making it feel like you’ve stepped into a gas station service garage. There’s also a strong Chem backbone with Cookie-forward notes and a margarita lime twist on the finish with a cherry on top.

Effect

Potency-wise, Pie Dough isn’t for the faint of heart. This live rosin delivers a soaring head high that grabs you by the center of your brain and pulls you forward, followed by a sedative, body-soothing wave of pain relief.

Rating

The paddle boys strike again! I highly recommend grabbing any product from Valley Garden207, as everything they touch seems to turn to gold. You can find their live rosin at Kind & Co. in Windham, Sinsemilla in Auburn and Lewiston, and The Market in Westbrook, Maine.
